The Weekender

Dear Club Dine In! Members and Readers,
Fabulous yet traditional culinary and fitness events happening in SF this week!
Friday May 14 • Happy Hour • 6-9 PM
Start the weekend right, with an organic cocktail at the city’s first certified green business.

Friday May 14 • Ramblas Tapas • 6-9 PM
After happy hour, head over to this eco-friendly restaurant in the Mission. Their California-inspired Spanish cuisine uses fresh, local and, whenever possible, organic ingredients from the plethora of Bay Area small farms and artisan food-makers.

Saturday May 15 • Oyster Fest • 11 AM
Fresh oysters from Drakes Bay and copious amounts of Guinness, benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Saturday/Sunday May 15-16 • Food History • 12-5 PM
Within the historic vaults of the Old Mint, explore the past, present and future of food and drink in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each day there will be a live presentation exploring the history of food in the Bay Area and the people who have made that history.
Sunday May 16 • Bay to Breakers • 8 AM
It’s the 99th annual, “only-in-SF” event!  From sea level at the Embarcadero the course rises steeply along Hayes Street Hill. Around the 2.5-mile mark runners climb an 11.15% grade between Fillmore and Steiner, bringing them to the highest point in the race, approximately 215 feet above sea level. The remainder of the course gradually flows alongside the Panhandle and through Golden Gate Park. Wear your tennis shoes, costume or not, and have some fun!

Sunday May 16 • Free Yoga • 10-11 AM
With nothing but sunny days ahead, Lombardi Sports offers yoga class on the roof in the beautiful San Francisco sun. Rejuvenate and build stamina.
Have a great weekend!
