Sunday Jan 15th • Cookbook Potluck Party • 5-8PM
Join Club Dine In! and Slow Food SF at JAX Vineyard’s Loft for a potluck featuring recipes from the new book, Cooking with Italian Grandmothers by Jessica Theroux. Choose your favorite recipe from the cookbook and join us for dinner. Members can stay connected through an discussion board on Facebook to share ideas, experiences and suggestions with each other. The recipes in the cookbook are really simple and does not require fancy/expensive ingredients. At the potluck party, JAX Vineyard will pour wine and California Olives and Olive Oil will provide olive oil tasting.

The Good Food Awards-the first national awards platform to recognize American food crafters-celebrate the kind of food we all want to eat: tasty, authentic and responsibly produced. Taste, buy, and meet the producers behind the 71 tasty and sustainably made winning products from across the country. The inaugural Good Food Awards Marketplace is free to the public, and will be held against the backdrop of the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmers Market.-Club Dine In! will be present at this marketplace! ForageSF has teamed up with Public Works to bring you it’s most exciting underground food marketplace to date: NIGHT MARKET. On Saturday January 15th, ForageSF brings its array of edibles to Public Works and keeps the clock running after-hours. With a rotating line-up of eclectic street performers, live musicians, and disc jockeys, the Mission neighborhood venue will transform into its own version of an exotic marketplace.
Saturday Jan 15th • Radio Africa & Kitchen’s Winter Festival • 7PM
It’s January, the time of long nights and cold days. This festival will warm your inner wintertime by presenting the fine and positive elements of African heritage through food, music and art. We will be specially honoring the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. as well.
Sunday Jan 16th • Blue Bottle Cupping • 2PM
Blue Bottle headquarters in Oakland has free public cuppings every Tuesday and Sunday at 2:00pm, plus home espresso trainings, brewing classes, and lecture/demonstrations covering selected topics in coffee and food.

Friday Jan 21st • Pop-Up Dinner With Leif • 7-10PM
Leif Hedendal, of Cooking With Leif, is hosting an 8-course dinner at Local 123. Leif was featured in New York Magazine for Foragers and Chefs recently. Wine pairings, wines by the glass or bottle, beer and other tasty beverages will be available. Corkage is $15 per bottle if you bring your own wine.
Sunday Jan 23rd • DIY Tea • 3-5PM
DIY’ers drink tea. DIY’ers should be able to make their own tea. In this class, you will learn the basic types of teas and blending ingredients to become a tea sommelier in no time! We will start class with a cupping & learn to taste the different varieties & blending ingredients. You’ll learn charming techniques for blending the dry ingredients and let you go nuts creating your personal blends from there. By the end, you will walk away with a new appreciation for tea and two hand crafted blends of tea to take home for your friends and frenemies to enjoy. Oh, and no doilies or loud hats allowed.
