Friday June 25th • Mobile Street Food at Fort Mason • 5-8PM

Music, great food, beer, wine, and amazing views of the Golden Gate Bride, Angel Island and Alcatraz?! “Off The Grid” is organizing this weekly cultural market. Participating food vendors include Peko Peko Catering, El Huarache Loco, Kung Fu Tacos, Chaac Mool, Hapa SF, Seoul On Wheels, Soul Cocina, Onigilly, Azalina’s Malaysian and Global Soul. Get your grub on!

Friday June 25th • Sustainable Fish for Dinner • 7-10PM

Avedano’s Holly Park Market will be hosting The Ethical Butcher for an event that highlights an often overlooked issue. At the rate we’re going, scientists say we may overfish our ocean’s bounty within the next 30-40 years. With that in mind, enjoy a 5-course dinner where the menu is built uses strictly fish recommended by MBA’s Seafood Watch. The sturgeon is an especially interesting dish, as it was developed based on a recipe that is nearly 400 years old!!

Friday June 25th • Party to Give • 6-10PM

Stop by for a drink, enjoy good food and do some good while you are it. 100% of raffle proceeds and proceeds from the bar will go to Architecture For Humanity and La Cocina, so come drink up! Architecture For Humanity will be supporting the design and re-construction of schools in Haiti. The goal is to build 30 temporary and transitional schools in order to support 14,000 students. La Cocina will be rolling out their mobile vending initiative that supports low-income food entrepreneurs in San Francisco. The funds will go to educating La Cocina program participants on how to seize these uplifting opportunities.

Sat-Sunday June 26-27th • Pinot Days • 12-6PM

Pinot Days Grand Festival Public Tasting showcases more than 220 phenomenal producers of Pinot Noir. Consumers can sample as many as 500 Pinots from every important domestic Pinot Noir region, from California’s Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills. Local specialty food purveyors serve delectables that pair well with Pinot.

Sat-Sunday June 26-27th • Mexican and Indian Brunch • 11-2PM

Celebrated cookbook author Niloufer Ichaporia-King, author of My Bombay Kitchen, returns to Foreign Cinema for an exotic brunch on June 26th and 27th. The menu will be filled with flavors inspired by Niloufer’s tropical travels to the state of Veracruz, Mexico, India, and beyond; the recipes will be showcased in Niloufer’s forthcoming cookbook this year. Highlights include date “pop tarts”, prawns and yogurt rice, kheema turnovers, and “son in law” eggs. Some traditional brunch favorites on the menu will also be served. All dishes are priced à la carte. Saturday June 26th 11am-2:30pm, and Sunday June 27th 11am-3pm. Call for reservations: 415-648-7600.

Saturday June 26 • Grill Off • 12-1:30PM

For the third year in a row, local chefs will set up in the market and vie for the title of Grill Master. Last year’s burger champion, Mark Sullivan of Spruce will return to defend his title against Dave Bazirgan of Chez Papa Resto, Peter McNee of Poggio, Thomas Odermatt of Roli Roti and Scott Youkilis of Hog & Rocks/ Maverick. Whose homemade sausages will reign supreme? This CUESA-sponsored event will be free and open to the public. While they’re there, guests can visit an education display about local humane meat production and mini sausages from all the chefs will be available after the competition for a $2 donation (proceeds benefit CUESA).

Saturday June 26 • Street Food Crawl • 6-11PM

Join us for a food crawl in the San Francisco Dogpatch neighborhood. A benefit for the SF Food Bank 6pm - sunset (followed by an outdoor film!) There will be a ton of street food vendors including: Chai Cart, Hapa Ramen, Lumpia Cart, Radio Africa Kitchen and Sweet Constructions. ****Please let me know if you would like to join and we can set a meeting place.

Saturday June 26 • Drinking and Do-Gooding • 6-2AM

Join Mama Hope to raise money to build an orphanage for the children in Bawjiase, Ghana! Tickets are $10 if purchased online, $13 at the door, includes a free drink ticket, and a portion of beer sales will go to help this wonderful cause! Even if you can’t be there all night, stop by for a round!

Saturday June 26 • Bring Out Your Latin Side • 6-2AM

Put on your dancing shoes and head over to Berkeley for a night full of live Latin grooves and dancing. Vaca Negra and Mucho Axé will keep you going the entire night. Mucho Axé is a 7-piece band performing original compositions with a unique blend of grooves, rhythms, and flavors from Latin America, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico & from here.

Sunday June 27 • Free Yoga • 10-11 AM
