CUESA has partnered with the SF Giants to introduce city dwellers to the wonders of urban agriculture/urban homesteading at the first ever Urban Eats program promoting and recognizing local homegrown and homemade foods. CUESA also will be organizing a series of live cooking, preserving and urban food production demonstrations for fair participants to enjoy.

Young professionals in the Bay Area come together once a month by partnering with local San Francisco venues to raise funds and awareness for a charitable organization or cause ranging from human trafficking to breast cancer research to domestic violence and more. Since its founding in 2001, Harvesters has grown to serve more than 170 orphans and more than 500 school children in Southern Sudan. This organization is now establishing a hospital in response to the severe health care needs in the area.

In its 33rd year, the Union Street Festival is one of San Francisco’s largest free annual events. There will arts and crafts created with recycled and sustainable materials and eco-friendly exhibits, 25 gourmet food booths, two stages of live entertainment and bistro style cafes. Over 100 staff members are on-site to assist exhibitors and the public. Parking is available three blocks from the event site.
